Tried my luck solving a GMATPrep CAT and finished only 30 from the 37 qs in math section.... any tips on how to improve my speed?
Will it be better with time and practice or I'm doing something wrong? I noticed that I'm spent more than 3 mins on some questions but just because it took me some time to understand their concept.

Did you get most of them right atleast? If so, you could guess on a few of them to regain time.

Thanks mate, I actually did that and ended up getting them wrong too. I'll keep practicing on the CATs, hopefully it'll improve by time.

No i mean, did you get most of the ones correct that you took your time on? I usually don't write anything down for DS problems and take usually less than a minute on them.. I get about 25% of those wrong though.

Trust me, keep learning the basics and something will click. Practice is the only way to improve timing. For your study sessions, do 10-15 problems at a time and set a timer for about 2 minutes per question.
