I am getting absolutely mauled by the timing of the MGMAT CAT quant sections. Part of the problem is that I consider myself a very strong test taker, particularly on the math, and refuse to let questions go even when they start taking forever.
My goal is a 740+, and so far the two MGMAT CATs I've taken have been 680 and 700 (slight improvement), but the improvement came primarily from my verbal score (went from 37 to 41). On this past test I spent 7 minutes on a single math question (horrible, I know), and 4 minutes on several others. As a result, I had to randomly guess on the last 10 questions, and my score obviously plummeted.
Because I'm doing well on the verbal section, and haven't even begun to study SC which will hopefully improve it even more, I'm feeling petty good about it. On the math, I feel like improving my timing shouldn't be that monumental of a task, but I just really don't know how to achieve this. Any input would be welcome.
