TIMER

Hi - question about the timer on the real GMAT pls?
(ive taken it before but dont recall - i think id perform better with it off for most of test so would like to try that this time around)

1) is it possible to turn it on and off?
2) when turned off for one question, does it automatically reappear for the next? i noticed that for MGMAT practice tests, i had to turn it off for every question bc it kept reappearing in subsequent questions.

many thx

No you cannot stop the timer on the actual exam. All sections including the one that gives you instructions are timed by GMAC
Wish you good luck

thx for the response, but apologies, was not clear in my question.
by 'turn off,' i meant make it disappear or hide it. i know i only have 75 min per section but don't want to see the clock ticking down while im working. thank you
