Guys,
Here's an amazing document I came across on Tenses. I have been kinda quite scared of Tenses right from my school days. Not that I can't speak proper English but sometimes I use to bungle up my Tenses. This document takes an in-depth look at the Tenses and explains all the tenses in a really nice way. Though you don't need to know all the nitti-gritties of tenses explained in the document,but I'm sure ,as a topic, tenses would no more seem intimidating to you.

Thanks for uploading this. For those looking to brush up their skills on verb tenses, I would also recommend looking at the free SC concept from www.e-gmat.com. It is a nice 20 min tutorial that will brush up your knowledge.

You don't need to know the technical terms, but you do need to be able to recognize correct grammar when you see it. In addition, people on BTG will often refer to tenses by name, so knowing that much is handy for discussing SC.

Interesting document. My main complaints about Aristotle prep are that 1) I don't think the stuff is written by a native English speaker, so while the content in the linked document is fine (I scanned it quickly), the English in the explanations is sometimes a little strange, and 2) they need an editor. I think I remember seeing an Aristotle SC guide that had a couple spelling and grammar mistakes in the introduction. People like it because it's free, but in general, you get what you pay for.

I do like the format and examples, though -- I can imagine that document helping a lot of people, thanks for the link!

Went through the document and I must say that it's really great. I was kinda quite excited to see the tenses being explained through figures and diagrams . I think that now I understand the tenses a lot better as I am able to visualize them according to the figures given in the document. Many thanks!

if you liked the figures in Aristotle Document, you will definitely like the figures with audio in e-GMAT. Check that out. One of the verb tenses file is available in the free trial. For the other one you have to buy the course. I have purchased the course and I must say its worth it. I can retain so much better.
