I may be looking too far into the future or I may be asking some well thought out questions. Who knows? I sure don't.
As of a week ago, I am a Senior is high school. College applications are beating at my back door and daunting scholarship essays are asking to be written while my school work sits right in front of my face.
I am extremely over-whelmed. Not because of the work load, no. But because of the choices college offer.
The list of majors and minors is long enough to cover the broadest of broad spectrums. I am having a really tough time deciding on a major. I know nothing is ever set in stone but it would make me feel better having a rough idea of what I should be testing out and where I should begin heading towards.

I know, I know. You are probably thinking to yourself, "Why is a Senior in high school posting in the forums of a MBA social network. This isn't high school counseling."
But I have my motives. I am extremely interested in Business. Getting a MBA is under that extreme interest in business (which is why I brought my problems here).
I am also aware that Business is very broad. It covers anything from A to Z. I also know colleges are not necessarily concerned with your major. They care more about grades, GMAT scores, and work experience. But still, I am here to ask you:

"What majors would help me in the long run if I'm interested in getting a MBA later on?"

I also forgot to add that I love Economics and out of Administration, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, and Management I am most interested in Finance and Administration.
I also have NO IDEA what job I would like to have. My main concern is college. I know of some of the jobs that can be obtained through these majors and they sound very much like the work I would like to be doing.
