I think rust in and collusion of should be parallel with leakage rather than leaking moisture.

I think E is a suitable answer. Anybody have alternate opinions??

Use of "due to" is appropriate here.

There are at least three glaring mistakes in C.
1> "constantly leaking moisture" seems to imply that someone is knowinlgy leaking moisture
2> "constantly leaking moisture into" is not parallel to the noun + prep structure in "rust in" and "corrosion of"
3> "consequence of there being the" is awkward construction. (Option B also has this kind of awkward construction)

All options except A are erroneous wrt parallelism.

Only A rests the parallelism issue by having each piece of item in noun+prep form. It also correctly uses "due to".
