We know that there are 13 spade cards; so, we have to find out the probability that the drawn card is ace. Since there's only one ace of spade, the required probability = 1/13.

Solution:

Since there are 13 spades and one of them is the ace of spades, the probability that the spade card is an ace is 1/13.

(Note: We assume that by the “odds”, they mean the “probability” (since odds and probability are not quite the same.))
