The ancient Sanskrit epic, the Mahabharata, developed through a long process of oral recitation; tradition names the poet Vyasa as author of the core section of 8,000 verses from which is evolved the 24,000 verse redaction of Vaisampayana and the 100,000 verse redaction of Ugrasrava Sauti.
A) from which is evolved the 24,000 verse redaction of Vaisampayana and the 100,000 verse redaction of Ugrasrava Sauti
B) with the 24,000 verse redaction of Vaisampayana and the 100,000 verse redaction of Ugrasrava Sauti having evolved from it
C) from which have evolved the 24,000 verse redaction of Vaisampayana and the 100,000 verse redaction of Ugrasrava Sauti
D) from which were evolved the 24,000 verse redaction of Vaisampayana and the 100,000 verse redaction of Ugrasrava Sauti
E) evolved from which is Vaisampayana's 24,000 verse and Ugrasrava Sauti's 100,000 verse redactions
my doubt : i am finding it hard to reject C .though D seems oki to me but C also seems right .
my reasoning : these verses are still in use (at least the part where i live in ) so their implication is still there. thinking this ,i thought that present perfect can be used .kindly tell me if my line of thinking is correct.
thanks and regards
