The analyst suggest that traders pay more attention to broader measure of the money supply, known as M2, but still not to ignore standard indicators.

A) but still not to ignore
B) and not to ignore any longer
C) but that they still not ignore
D) and not that they continue to ignore
E) but that they are still not ignoring

OA C

C seems to be the answer. I dnt have any explanations for this though. It just seems gramatically correct.

a - close but missing that makes it difficult to know exactly what is being compared.
b - should be BUT not And
c - CORRECT - "that" is important
d- cumbersone + redundant
e - cumbersome + redundant

How would we know that its a contradictory statement or an addition to the suggestion .

It could be ----The analyst suggested : 1.) to pay more attention 2.) and not to ignore

Why but and not and ??

How will we know the real intended meaning of the sentence ?

I feel it should be "...still don't ignore standard indicators" instead of "...still not". Please explain to me why I am wrong.
