Taking in the sentence is wrong. The sentence happened in the past so using the verb in present continuous tense is wrong.

[b][u]Option B - Correct[/u][/b]
It is correct as it uses the correct tense of verb to modify the sentence.

[b][u]Option C - Incorrect[/u][/b]
The use of present tense ''takes'' for an event that happened in the past is wrong. It shows the wrong tense.

[b][u]Option D - Incorrect[/u][/b]
This option changes the meaning of the sentence, the modifier ''from'' is wrong.

[b][u]Option E - Incorrect[/u][/b]
The use of the present tense is wrong. The present perfect tense is used for an action that has been perfected but still has an effect on the present. The war happened in the past, it has nothing to do with the present.
