OPTION A - INCORRECT
The use of taking is wrong, it is a past event. a nd it should not attract a continuous verb.

OPTION B - CORRECT
This is the best choice of answer as it is devoid of grammatical blunder and tenses are in order and well placed.

OPTION C- INCORRECT
The use of simple present tense which takes place is a wrong choice of tense and therefore makes the option incorrect.

OPTION D - INCORRECT
This option totally deviates from the actual sense of the question. The real meaning is altered.

OPTION E - INCORRECT
Has taken is a present perfect tense, but recall that the event happened in the past so it is right to say this option is wrong.
