Can someone explain when 'that' is used and when 'which' is used?
How important is it to know this concept on the GMAT for sentence correction?

that - used to introduce subordinate clause.
Which - used to give the extra / irrelevant information. Sentence is complete without which. generally separated by comma.
Pretty important concept to know.....
