Hi, I have posted a similar response to another thread, I think the Manhattan Gmat strategy guide is very helpful, not sure if you have tried it or not. About test anxiety, did you go to the same test center for both attempts? For me, I have taken it 3 times, going to the same test center, seeing the same people working there, we almost became friends! And my personal experience is facing a computer is far less stressful than doing traditional exam settings where the person next to you may be turning his pen, shaking his leg, turning his papers furiously etc.

If you are referring to the MGMAT SC Book 8 strategy guide, as I mentioned in my post, that is precisely the book that I've read 3 times...

I'm just curious to know what books people have been using to improve their Quant skills.
I know a lot of you guys on BTG started out in low 600s and increased their scores by improving their time management skills.
Practicing questions to improve your score is one thing, but learning the material first is another..

What other study material do you guys suggest other than the MGMAT Quant books? I've done reasonably well throughout college taking math courses up to Calc III. I do feel like I understand the basic gmat Quant concepts and I do understand most of the errors that I've made, some being silly mistakes and others seem to hit me as soon as I see the answer. But that's not enough to get a most of the 600 level questions right.
Maybe I'm missing something here, just trying to figure out what to do!

I took the exam recently but I want to take this exam one more time next month. I seem to be having a hard time figuring out how to improve my score, and most of the material is fresh in my head.
Any suggestions will help!

You need to work both on Quant and Verbal. Here are my suggestions to you.
1.Make a plan of action for the next one month. You should know what to finish when otherwise we mortals have this habit of procrastinating.
2. Starting maintaining an error log. I just cannot overemphasize the importance of keeping an error log.
3. Concepts,concepts,concepts! That's the way to go. For Quant, MGMAT Strategy guides will help you a long way. For SC, go through MGMAT SC Guide and SC Grail religiously and then practice questions topicwise.
4. Analyze each question you attempt thoroughly irrespective of the fact that whether you get it correct or not. I can GUARANTEE you that if you do this, you'll see a remarkable improvement in your accuracy.
5. Keep participating in the forums here.That'll keep you motivated.

I think that if you follow the points above, then there's no reason why your score will not go up.
