What are some pretest preparation suggestions? I'm planning on working a few med-hard difficulty quantitative problems just to get my brain warmed-up and then starting a couple practice tests to desensitize myself to the first quantitative question (always seem to throw me off even though I know how to solve).

It may sound corny, but I advise my students to spend a lot of time engaged in positive visualization.

I've been having trouble following that mantra.

I would like to thank you and Beat the GMAT for the great 60 day study guide. I have only focused on quant. because of time constraints. My recent scores are, on average, 70-90 points higher than my baseline (8yrs. since geometry and 5 since algebra). Wish I had the same amount of time to spend on verbal, I feel I could attain an overall competitive score of 630+, needing a 550-580 for my program. My verbal is hovering around the 30 mark every CAT. I feel reasonably assured because my scaled scores have not fluctuated more than a few points within the last month GMAT PREP CAT 2 twice, PR CAT 6, and PR CAT 9.
