Hi experts,

As an MBA aspirant, targeting a elevated career in management consulting post MBA, I applied to Tepper(CMU) and Kelley(Indian) programs.
The outcome is :

Tepper - With no Scholarships

Kelley - With almost 50% (scholarship+assistanship)

As an candidate from India, I have to keep the financial constraints in mind because I would need to apply for [email protected]% for a $100K(in case of Tepper).

So Gurus, please help me out in deciding the right choice for me at this point of time.

My brief profile:
------------------------------------------

Undergrad - Engineering in Information Technology(From League-2 college in India )

Work experience - Technology & CRM consulting/implementation for almost 7 Years

Post MBA goal - Management Consulting

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for your post and congratulations on your admission to Tepper and Kelley! In regard to your question about management consulting careers post MBA, this is a great question for you to ask the career placement/development office at both schools. Most schools publish career placement statistics online, but if you can't find it that way, I would recommend reaching out to the career offices at each school and learning more about this. They should be able to tell you the placement information by industry and specific employers.

Best of luck with your decision,

Stacey

Consulting simply means giving advice for pay. People offering consulting services present their skills and advice in solving problems and in improving certain processes.
