Please help in understanding below point :

Finally, the idea of completed action can be used simply to place a Present Perfect action
earlier than another action in -Ing forms, infinitives or subordinate clauses.

Right: She WILL PAYyou when you ASK her.
(the time of will pay = the time of [will) ask; note that the future will is
often dropped in subordinate clauses)
Right: She WILL PAYyou when you HAVE TAKEN out the garbage.
(the time of will pay is LATER than the future time of have taken)

Hi, I recently came across this in the MGMAT guide. Here's what i understood:

The use of present perfect tense , helps us in understanding the meaning (eg: time frame) of the sentence.

She WILL PAY you WHEN you ask her. Here : When is used to mean : "At the same time"

She WILL PAY you WHEN you HAVE TAKEN out the garbage. Here : When is used to mean : "After taking out the garbage"

The second sentence is in present perfect tense. i.e, the action or it's effect is continuing into the present. This helped us decide the meaning of the sentence which was that he will be paid after he takes out the garbage.
