Since I work full time I was planning to take one day off before the test. Should I take more?

If you can afford it, taking one day off would be nice before your GMAT. I would recommend just relaxing--don't do any prep during that time.isisalaska wrote:Since I work full time I was planning to take one day off before the test. Should I take more?

I agree with Eric... I studied the day before the Gmat and also the G-Day and it was my biggest mistake ever... I fricked out and I forgot everything I knew... So the day before the Gmat and of course the day of the test try to relax and think about something else

@ Catalina: welcome back ol' member
@ Isis: Eric's convincing ....
i have related query so i am continuing here.
After the date and time is fixed, it is recommended to take practise test at scheduled times same as your real test times .
for example: say i hv a test on 2.00 pm
so i shouold take practise tests on ~2.00-6.00 pm time
but now with one has job on day time how one should cope up with this situation?
errrmm ...
wait i think akdon had discussed about it https://www.beatthegmat.com/viewtopic.php?t=481
not sure though...
please reply, Eric.

I had two days off prior to day of exam. I spent the first of those two days taking two gmatprep's. the second day, i relaxed but did a couple of exercises. I actually learned a new method for overlapping sets at 11pm. It's no big deal. The only thing you need is a good night's rest--not too much and not too little.isisalaska wrote:Since I work full time I was planning to take one day off before the test. Should I take more?
Hi Aim... It´s nice to see you too
Well, I don´t know if you guys have ever heard about ayurveda... well, if you practice it, or take it into account, the best hours for the Gmat would be between 10 and 2 p.m and 2 and 6 p.m. being this last period of hours the best one for the test.
Here is a link if the subject interest you:

Hi Aim...
Don´t worry about the blogger stuff, anyway is nice to know that you are visiting.
Well, I heard about ayurveda by the weirdest method ever... Deepak Chopra, I am not the biggest fan in the world of this guy, but a friend of mine gave me a book called perfect body, and the whole book was about the guy explaining what ayurveda is... The real name of the book should be called ayurveda for doomies, but it was just perfect to start my interest, and it´s been a while since I started to research about it.
I am really happy that near to my new home where I will be moving next week, they have a really cool yoga place, so I think that mental and body strenght is really important for this test.
Nice story... I had a good laugh with it...
