Seems like a lot of ppl refer to this website to have their %tages converted to GPA. I don't know whether B-Schools use this tool for their conversion purposes....however its a neat matrix to estimate one's GPA.

One point that is to be considered is that a low %tage from a tough school should be taken into account by the B-schools.
For example: An average student scores 70 to 75% (maybe more) in most of the S.Indian universities. However a 65 to 70% + score in Mumbai university is generally obtained by the top 5% of the students.
My odds to success increase incredibly with each attempt.
