Because of a similarity to dance, synchronized swimming-exhibition swimming in which the movements of one or more swimmers synchronize to a musical accompaniment-is sometimes called water ballet, especially in theatrical situations.

A. of one or more swimmers synchronize to
B. of one swimmer or more is synchronized with

I guess its Idiomatic to say "Synchronize with" and Movements _____ synchronized with. Blank = are

I agree with Haaress on this one; I also think the answer is C. "Movements" is plural, so both B and D can be eliminated due to the singular verb "is." "Movements of" is idiomatic, as is "synchronized with," and those two issue allow us to eliminate A and E.
