I beleive the text after 'shades' is description of shades...(A/C/D)

C has being and in D i dont know wht is arrowweed

A/D
First take: 640 (50M, 27V) - RC needs 300% improvement

This SC question confused me a lot...IMO A

first...roofs supported by posts or roof supported by posts...well both make sense to me

If i eliminate C and D because of the use of being and To be(seems incorrect)...then i left with OP E...but the use of that are...i think refer to " poles and arrowweed" which are just modifying roofs and its roofs supported by not the poles and arrowweed supported by..hence E should be incorrect.

Both A and B uses each suggests that (sing)roof supported by posts...okay no probs and i reject Op B because of the use of the word being...hence IMO A

Ron's explanation to rule out options B and E(just love this guy :D)
the main problem with (e) is the fact that "are" is in the present tense; that's illogical, considering that the mojave "lived" (past tense) in those homes.
taken literally, then, this sentence is describing the current conditions of the houses, even though the mojave don't live in them anymore.
that doesn't fly.
and D sounds as something for future(to be)
