My SIP experience has given me the confidence to say aloud that " I know that I am the achiever". The Summer Internship Program has made me a confident to approach people, accept challenges and provide appropriate solutions.
The Summer Internship Program aims at widening a student's perspective by providing an exposure to real life organizational and environmental situations. This enables the student to explore the chosen industry, build relationship with corporate people, or hone the skills required for the respective sector. The stint has provided me with invaluable knowledge and networking experience than ever before.
I consider my fortunate to work with Dhanania Consultants, as I am getting an ample of opportunity to explore my strengths and learn the aesthetics of business. I always knew that I would be able to leverage the scope given to me in the best possible manner. The company has a healthy work atmosphere which is very inspiring for beginners like us. There is no barrier to learning and on-job learning widens the range of understanding business environment.
I am working on a project for understanding the operation of service tax and its applicability on hotels & restaurants. The project has curved out a new horizon for a better career. Apart from the designated project, we have also been involved in conducting audit and return filing.
The SIP has taught me the disciplines of office culture, and the methods of conducting corporate meetings and business reports. The company is setting up a new unit in Malda, where the management has involved us in the proceedings, which is an honour for us.
