You have explained a complex concept in a very simple manner. I got 25% in the diagnostic and was able to improve up to 65% after taking the lessons. A good set of 15 questions as well.

Can you tell me where does 65% put me w.r.t others who have attempted these quesitons

Congratulations on the score improvement. We collect responses from a few hundred students (statistically significant sample) and then deduce the percentile based on your score on a particular topic.

As of now we have approximately 50 responses and are waiting for a few more before we run through the entire exercise. However, considering that Subjunctive is a difficult topic, I would put your percentile level between 65 and 80 percentile. However, this solely reflects you percentile in this topic and not the entire SC or the entire verbal section.

Its good to know an assessment of where I stand. A couple of questions; based on the data that you have gathered, is this score improvement normal. (25%-65% after the lesson).

I would say that your score improvement currently is in the average to above average category. Please note that for an online lesson (and also for a book) the score improvement really depends on the following:

1. Your ability and background
2. The time spend.
3. Continuity: Whether the lesson is taken in one sitting or multiple and whether you do the exercises right away or after a break.

We have seem a positive correlation between the amount of time spent on the lesson and score improvement. People who have spent 15 mins of more on the lesson in one sitting generally have demonstrated better score improvement. As an example, we had an individual who spent 18 mins on the lesson and improved his score from 25% (diagnostic) to 95% (final exercise).

I took the quiz and got the question about "in US, the sport spectators prefer that they sit......" wrong. Even though the sentence is correct, if I apply the GMAT "rules", the elements in the sentence are not parallel, thus the reason for my marking it as "incorrect". Any comment?

A teeny suggestion...mix up the verbs that require subjunctive and the verbs that require infinitive to make the quiz more interesting
