Studying Strategy?

Hi there,
I recently decided to go for my MBA and just started studying for the GMAT last week. I graduated with my undergrad ten years ago, so I am VERY rusty and am going to need lots of practice! I am trying to figure out if it is best to master each section before moving on to the next one. While I am waiting for the math books I ordered to come in, I started studing the Critical Reasoning section. Should I just stick to that until I have mastered all the questions or should I start looking at other sections as well?

The CR section is the most interesting section on the GMAT. I think it's a great section to start on. That said -- I think taking a diagnostic test is the best way to go about preparing for the GMAT. The diagnostic test will help you gauge your level and provide you with a baseline. You may be very strong in certain areas and weak in others. Once you identify those areas, you can put your time to better use. Manhattan offers a diagnostic CAT or you can take one of the official GMAC CATs.
