i am supposed to register for the exam.
am planning to take up the exam on oct.

will 3 months suffice?
i intend to do my mba abroad, and what is the ideal score?

how much prep ought to be put in?

Three months is a good amount of time. And if u r a working guy then u got no time to waste. I will also be writing GMAT in Oct. I am following BTG 60-day guide which I find quite worthy. Browse through self study section and you will get a fair idea.
