Hi All,

I am looking at the GMAT 60 day study plan. I see here it takes us through Quant first at a stretch (19 days) and then on to Verbal (14-15days). I am afraid that if we follow this, we would lose touch on the Quant section when we dedicate the 15days on Verbal. My concern is can't we study both sections simultaneously OR need to know the results of the 60day plan as how fair it is?

It all depends on your preference. The 60-day plan is supposed to make your learning more organized. Studying both sections simultaneously also has many advantages. One of them is that when you feel fed up with studying one section, you can go through some material concerning the other section and thus you might be able to cover more material in a shorter period of time.

I would also recommend that during the days devoted solely to the verbal section you do practice a little solving quant questions. It shouldn't be too many, around 10 questions should be enough.

I've personally found that if I don't work on quant for a few days, I tend to get rusty.

Kasia's tip is great.

I should mention that the last 16 days of the Guide are devoted to identifying and strengthening weaknesses (not learning new concepts)). So, this is a good time to work on any areas that have become a little rusty.
