I have completed the Manhattan Gmat Strategy Guides and am planning to thoroughly review all the questions from the Official Guide and Quant Review. Additionally, I am planning to do the Kaplan's Advanced 800, Manhattan's newly launched Advanced QUant supplement and the Veritas' Cominatrics and Probability books.

Do you reckon I should go through the Kaplan Math Work Book or the Kaplan Premier as well? I am skeptical as I believe these might be a repetition of the Manhattan Strategy Guides.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi,

I get a feeling you are just trying to tick the boxes by finishing those books. There are enough books out there to keep you working till forever. That is missing the point completely!

GMAT is not a test of how much questions you solve. As a matter of fact the more non-official questions you solve - the further off you get from your solve. My take is the MGMAT strategy series should be enough.

Also instead of spraying your bullets try to focus on areas you want to improve. Why would you want to do an book on combinatronics if that is not your problem area ?(I am not saying it is - just a rhetoric). Solve more GMATPrep questions after you are done with OG 12, and the supplements.

Start focusing on taking tests. GMAT is about how you hold your nerves, how you build your mental stamina over the 3.5 hours. It is not about how well you solve individual questions. So take more tests - the GMATPreps and the free online tests available (last count Manhattan, Kaplan, Veritas, Knewton, Princeton Review all offered atleast 1 practice test). Let us know how you did in those, what your problem areas are, and we can come up with a plan to fix it.
