If you are able to nail the challenges, it seems that you are already strong in the basics. I guess it is just a matter of discipline in your work.

I propose you work more on the basic number properties. The MGMAT Number properties guide is great even if your math foundation is strong. You should give it a try.

I also suggest the MGMAT Number Properties book. Your Math skills are probably really high, but you're not used to the format of some of the "basic" questions, and its been longer since you reviewed that material.

You may also want to consider going back and reviewing some simpler concepts like PEMDAS (Order of Operations), etc. It never hurts to get more practice with the small stuff!
