Stanford GSB - Application doubts

by gmat_and_me » Mon Sep 10, 2012 8:16 am
Hello,

I have doubts on some of the sections of the application. Appreciate
your views and insights on the commonly followed practices for the
following questions.

1 - Essays are supposed to be uploaded as one document. Is there a
requirement that each essay should start in a new page ? If not, is it
recommended ?

2 - I have more experience than what the Full time employment section
can hold. So, should I make use of the additional information section ?
Is it expected that I quote all the experience I have from graduation ?
(not that I have anything to hide. It is just a matter of expectations).

If I am using the additional information section, should it follow the same
format as the 'Full time employment' section ?

Also, I am hoping that I do not need to put those information in my resume.
A one-pager can not accommodate my complete work history.

3 - Awards and Achievements

The website says

"These may include academic, civic, or professional activities for which you
received recognition"

I just want to confirm that I can indeed highlight achievements in my profession.
The doubt arose mainly because it is listed under Academic Record.

Thanks for your time,

Very clearly stated!
Let's take them on one by one.
1. It's a good idea to start the essays on a new page. It looks cleaner. Beautiful formatting helps!

2. Yes, you can use the additional information section. No you don't HAVE to. ONLY use it if it is to your benefit.

3. you can. confirmed :)

Hope this helps!
