Here is a problem I'm sure many of you will find basic but has me scratching my head, I have only just started studying for the GMAT and I guess there are a few basic things I'm real rusty on. As part of a solution to a problem in a GMAT review book it gives the following step:
sqrt8/sqrt pie=r
'simplify the sqrt8'
2*sqrt2/sqrt pie=r
what steps do you take to simplify sqrt8 into 2*sqrt2 ?
Thanks!
