Hi I still suck with exponents...

SQRT(x) = 25, then x^3-x^2 = ?

A. 5^12
B. 5^20
C. 6(6^5)
D. 5^4(5^2+1)
E. 5^8(5^4-1)

The anser is E and I don't get how you can get there from 625^3-625^2 - pl shelp. THANKS

sqrt(x)=25=5^2
x=5^4
x^2=5^8
x^3=5^12
x^3-x^2=5^12-5^8
=5^8(5^4-1)

625^3-625^2=(5^4)^3-(5^4)^2=5^12-5^8=5^8(5^4-1)
