Speed of car = R
Speed of train = 1.5 R
Time car took = T
RT = 75
1.5R(T - 12.5) = 75 -> 1.5RT - 18.75R = 75
Multiply RT = 75 by 1.5 and subtract the other equation.
1.5RT = 107.5
1.5RT - 18.75R = 75
18.75R = 37.5
R = 2
Speed of train = 1.5 R
Time car took = T
RT = 75
1.5R(T - 12.5) = 75 -> 1.5RT - 18.75R = 75
Multiply RT = 75 by 1.5 and subtract the other equation.
1.5RT = 107.5
1.5RT - 18.75R = 75
18.75R = 37.5
R = 2
