I just came across a course offered by Singapore Management University's (SMU) School of Information Systems - Master of IT in Business (Financial Services). Basically, this course is equivalent to an MBA in IT, but with a focus on Financial Services sector. This is a very intriguing aspect of the course - they prepare you for an Business-IT role in the Finance sector and open up the huge Singapore Financial market for you. Plus the School of Information Systems was formed with the aid of Carnegie Mellon University (one of the best for IT). Overall, this sounds a very good alternative to an MBA for someone with an IT background and who would like to get into the business side of IT.
It's just that I don't have any authentic info on the quality of the course or the career-services post the course completion. Can someone please share whatever information they might have about this course?
Many Thanks.
