since <p is greter than ,n slope of P is > than N
we need bth statements

need two points to find the slope of a line
m= y2-y1/x2-x1 so option (C)
if (x1, y1) is (5,1)
the lines pass through the y axis
for line n (0, Y) and p (0, y) where Y > y
slope of p = 1-Y/5 n = 1-y/5
the denominator is same so numerator will influence m

visually (the graph shown in the earlier post)
it is obvious that greater the y intercept , lesser is the x intercept
or steeper is the slope of the line after passing through (5,1)
slope of a line is also = y intercept / x intercept
but the point (5,1) is imp otherwise the x intercepts cannot be compaired.

I thought C too, but thats a nice solution.
