Skipping the last question?

I just took a Manhattan practice test and I wasn't keeping track of the time and didn't answer the last question on the Quantitative section. Now I know it's bad to skip any questions so I was wondering how much of an effect that has on my Q score. I got a 43Q but I know I can usually get higher than that. Thanks.

Skipping the last question can have a significant impact. It's always best to put something down instead of leaving a question blank!

On the official test, the penalty for leaving a question blank is 3 percentile points (per question!!). I think our algorithm makes it a little more severe (maybe about 4 percentile points) to train everyone NEVER to leave a question blank!!
