A rectangular box is 10 inches wide, 10 inches long,
and 5 inches high. What is the greatest possible
(straight-line) distance, in inches, between any two
points on the box?

(A) 15
(B) 20
(C) 25

Greatest possible distance between any two points in a rectangular parallelogram is the length of main diagonal.

Length of main diagonal of the box = √(10² + 10² + 5²) = √225 = 15

The correct answer is A.

Longest distance would be the diagonal of the box;
Srrt(100+100+25) = 15

Greatest possible distance = sqrt(10^2 + 10^2 + 5^2) = sqrt(225) = 15

IMO A.
Getting defeated is just a temporary notion, giving it up is what makes it permanent.
