Select the strategy which would NOT help the singer mentioned below earn a living:

A singer discovers that, because he is most famous for singing a holiday-themed song, he can only reliably be hired to perform concerts on that holiday. However, this singer cannot make a living by performing one concert in only one venue per year, even though the concert always sells all its tickets and must turn away more potential audience members.


(A) The singer could write more songs that are not holiday-themed, so that he could perform more often.

(B) The singer could release a holiday-themed CD and sell copies of it to make extra revenue.

(C) The singer could hold several concerts on the holiday throughout the day, charging each separate audience for tickets.

(D) The singer could try to hold concerts on every holiday of the year to gather a larger potential audience.

(E) The singer could sing one concert on the holiday on television, ensuring a larger audience.

Because he is only realibly be hired for holiday-themed songs, op A sounds weird, because it is out of his concentration
The more you suffer before the test, the less you will do so in the test! :)

Nopes , thats not the OA . I was stuck between 2 options and finally chose the wrong one over the right one . Just want to see if someone's getting it right to help me completely understand the OA.

single song may not be apt for all holidays..so might not draw audience every time..

as mentioned by need720+, this will not attract large audience every time!

what is the source deepthi... I find this question tough to digest... Am not convinced with Need720's "Single song" reasoning. I do see single song anywhere..

TV show means more audience but what about money... we dont know if the broadcast happened on a pay channel or on a govt free broadcast channel... w
Second we dont know if the TV broadcast guy paid some money to singer
Third, I am a one day holiday singer.. Can do a TV show only for publicity.
First take: 640 (50M, 27V) - RC needs 300% improvement
Second take: coming soon..

Regardless , I am just wondering if we may have to make so many assumptions on any given question . For eg : We may have to assume that the money gained in E > that gained in D . In E its not mentioned that he sings several times on the television . In D ,there are chances that he can sing it to people with different interests, thereby fetches him atleast better money than that on the one time television show.
