Is quadrilateral Q a square?
(1) The sides of Q have the same length.
(2) The diagonals of Q have the same length
GMATPowerPrep Test1= 740
GMATPowerPrep Test2= 760
Kaplan Diagnostic Test= 700
Kaplan Test1=600
Kalplan Test2=670
Kalplan Test3=570

I did this question earlier;

stmt I is insufficient
since parallelogram, rhombus also fall into the same category.

stmt II insufficient
since rectangle and trapezium fall into the same category

combining both it is sufficient

A parallelogram can have the both properties. what makes it a square ?

no . the diagonal of a rhombus can't be equal in length.so if they are equal in length then it is a square.

C should be the answer.

a rhombus is a quadrilateral whose four sides are all congruent

a square is a quadrilateral whose four sides are all congruent
and whose angles are all right angles
