i just wanna check
simplify
âˆš2 (âˆš2 y +âˆš2 )=-2 y +1
a)4y-1=0
b)4y+1=0
??? whc is right & after knwing the correct answer solve it
a) 1
b 2
c 3
d 4

âˆš2 (âˆš2 y +âˆš2 )=-2 y +1

Expanding the left side:
âˆš2 *âˆš2 y + âˆš2*âˆš2 )= -2 y +1
2y + 2 = -2 y +1
adding 2y on both sides.
4y + 2 = 1

4y + 1 = 0
