Hello,

I am going through OG 12. Math Review Arithmetic.
Should I study the theories before solving the problems?

Should the strategy be to finish reading the theory (all under section 4.0 Math Review) before attempting the problems?

I am aiming GMAT in Jan 2011

Thanks

yes dude even if you know theory its better that you first brush up all the concept than start with official guide as chances will be there you mite take long to recall formula so just go through section it wont take longer brush up concept and then starting solving og
all the best for prep

If you don't know the theories you will be shooting in the dark with the problems. Then, even if you get them right, you won't know why and will not be able to repeat your success on the test. In other words, know what you are trying to do before you start doing it. Then analyze your successes and your misses to know why you are getting problems right or wrong.
