Should I Study Hard on Data Suffiency???

I'm preparing a Math study program for myself and I would like your input on how much time of my overall Math program should I focus on Data Sufficency? Should Data Suffiency be an important part of my Math cirriculum? Does DS questions appear often on the real GMAT? Any feedback will be precious for me to plan my attack on the GMAT.

Yes, you will absolutely want to devote considerable time to Data Sufficiency questions. The question type is unique to the GMAT, so you likely won't have done similar problems in the past. With practice, you can certainly make big improvements, and you can start to recognize the various traps that frequently appear in these types of questions. Almost half your test will be DS these days (on average, about 17 of the 37 questions), so you'll see a lot of these kinds of questions on test day.

Thank you, Ian. I was under the impression that DS questions only comes up towards the end of Quant section if one were already doing well through the section. I had thought that if one wasn't doing so well, then DS questions would not appear as often.
