I need to start my MBA this spring and I would need the GMAT. They said that I can take it January 10th and still be able to start for Spring. I haven't done any preparation. What is your advice? I need a 510

That's a tough question to answer.

To get an idea of the required prep time, you should take an official practice test: https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/download-fr ... tware.aspx
It may be the case that you're already scoring above your target score, in which case you may not need to prepare at all. Or it may be the case that you're miles away from your target score.

Once you've taken the test, it will be much easier to gauge whether or not a January 10th test date is realistic.

I hope that helps.

Cheers,
Brent

Hi

Assuming you've taken a GMAT prep test to know where you stand...you might want to go through the OG questions AND answer explanations, which is very much possible before your 10th January date...

Then if you have the time take another prep test (only to build stamina). You will definitely reach your target score :)

Good Luck!
