Should Alumni send email to adcom

I have a few friends who went to some of the top B-schools. Does it strengthen my application if the alumni were to send an email to the ADCOM as an informal recommendation?

Some schools appreciate this, others don't. You're best to just contact the adcom and ask them directly.

Hi ayashlaha,

Each MBA admissions program will have their own policy about what additional information they would like to see. If the business school you are applying to does not mention this, then I would not recommend your peers send their recommendations.
