Should be D
Suppose he bought x 0.15 stmaps and y 0.29 stamps
Stmt 1 - 0.15x + 0.29y = 4.40. At the same time x and y should be integer. true only for x=y=10. SUFF
Stmt 2 - x=y. So it can be solved for x=y=10. SUFF

IMO ans should be A
coz .15x + .29y =4.40
only possible for x =y=10 SUFF
stmt 2: equal nos can be any thing i.e x=y= 1...anything
coz we dont have the total so here it can be anything.
NOT SUFF

Guys from stmt - 1 here, we are being able to find out the answer (somehow we have to use back track to find out the answer from only stmt - 1) but is it not better for us that both the options given act together. Then we can easily find out the correct answer. So I thought C will be the best answer but here it works in different way!
Correct me If I am wrong
