SET 25 Math Q13

Q13
If the average (arithmetic mean) of the assessed values
of x houses is $212,000 and the average of the assessed
values of y other houses is $194,000, what is the average
of the assessed values of the x+y houses?
(1) x+y=36
(2) x=2y

IMO it sud be B, wat others think, note: OA is not B...thanx

Sorry no idea! But to me, it should be B. By the way what is OA? And Neeraj request you to use spoiler (mentioned by Eric - Beatthegmat also) to provide the OA when u r posting ur Qs!

Thnax buddies...the obvious choice would be B....and IMO it is correct...but the OA is E.... :?:
