Sentences that are introduced by Subordinating Clauses

Expert replies

GMATers,

Some sources, including OG, claim that a correct sentence does not begin with a subordinating conjunction such as Because, If, or Although....

Although these sources claim this rule, there are so many sentences, including this one, that starts with a subordinating conjunction.

I need some insight on this rule.

Cheers!

I know about because -- we cannot start a clause with because.

But although has been used in large no of correct answers.
