the best thing is when you can't find any errors.... when ever that happens read the sentence again.

(A)that some Blacks return to Africa, the land that,to him, symbolized the possibilty of freedom.
Correct- Africa, the land that... symbolized.....
(B)that some Blacks return to African land symbolizing the possibilty of freedom to him.
Incorrect- symbolizing is incorrectly used here, moreover its changing the entire meaning of the sentence too.
(C)that some Blacks return to africa which was the land which symbolized the possibilty of freedom to him.
Incorrect- 1st which was is not needed.if i say "africa, the land which/that...symbolizes..." is better than using a relative pronoun. remember the use of which can be avoided too.
(D)some Black's returning to Africa which was the land that to him symbolized the possibilty of freedom.
Incorrect- Need "advocated that", moreover Black's returning did not cause anything....
(E)some Black's return to the land symbolizing the possibilty of freedom to him,Africa.
Incorrect- Need "advocated that"

+1 for A.

Rest all are giving the notion that the freedom is symbolizing only to the person not the land.
