DEFINITELY send your scores to the schools you're interested. They are going to see all of your GMAT scores, even if you decide to retake.

If you submit your scores the day of the test, you could be saving yourself a lot of money. I think it's $50 per school later on?

I understand this point of view--in fact, for my own GMAT, I didn't send in my scores because of the same reason. I was a little freaked out about the test and I wanted to review my results prior to submitting.

In hindsight though, I realize that this really didn't make a difference. Any school I apply to will see every GMAT I've taken, so I wished that I had just saved some money and submitted.

If this is too stressful for you to do--then maybe it would be to your advantage not to submit. You need to have as strong a mindset as possible for the exam!

You still have to send your scores to those schools--and these schools will see all your GMAT scores from the last 5 years.

There's no real reason not to "send" the scores when you take the test. Technically, you're not sending anything - what you're doing is giving the schools permission to access your scores in an online database. The schools will see a list of all scores and cancelled tests for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, you have no control over what they do and do not see.
