Selecting Score Recepients

by derek » Mon Jul 28, 2008 10:06 pm
Hi there,

I'm taking the GMAT later this year, however, I am not applying for any B-schools for another year and a half. Thus, I am thinking I do not want to send my scores to B-schools when I first write the GMAT. However, once I write the GMAT, I can pay an additional $28 per school that I'd like to send my scores to. Question is, if I don't choose the 5 schools right away at examination date to send scores, can these five school "credits" be deferred at a later date?

Thanks!

I have not applied yet to the B Schools. Does it mean that we can choose schools before actually applying?

Yes absolutely. Send the scores to them, they want use until you apply. you must have some schools in mind, and it's just another $28 that you don't to pay later.

B-school reapplicants will tell you that the schools keep scores on file for 5 years (that is, when you re-apply, they say don't worry about sending scores again unless they've changed).

Take the offer and send them since you'll do well ;) and you can save $28 a pop later since you'll be applying for 2010 it sounds like.
