Looks like another inner game problem. I am not the one who is an expert but I definitely haven't experienced the actual test but I am sure that I will not panic in the actual one as I have been so much through in life that GMAT is merely a jalapeno compared to the habaneros and mirchis I have had i...

There is one obvious problem with your scores. Verbal!! And out of that SC needs a lot of work. I have the same problem too. But my SC has improved a bit. I get 4 to 5 SC wrong in any given test and I am trying to cut it down to 2 or 3. You know what go over the manhattan SC guide in detail. I fact ...

Id like to end this thread with a punch "There is no purpose to human existence. All we do is survive and replicate" Greed is inherent in our natures and we will do whatever we need to do to make our survival and replication odds better. The chinese and indians will exploit their brains. Y...

Nah havent been doing for the last two sets. I just make mental notes of points i get for each topic and then imagine myself typing two to three paragraphs few a minute or two and then i move on. I will be satisfied with 5.0+ AWA. The key is to add grammatically correct logically consistent content ...

six days to go before G day
Took GMAT Prep today and was not very pleased with my performance for not having met my expectations. Nevertheless, I have no choice as I have scheduled my test on Tuesday which is less than a week and way past the cancellation deadline. I am broke so cannot afford to postpone with no refund so I am...

I think you need to address the inner game issue here more than applying a patch. Become outcome independent. Come what may and I will brace it should be your frame of mind. I used to feel nervous on all occasions. GRE, exams, interviews, asking a hot girl out. Little did I realize that I was giving...

r = -5m + c
(1) slope is -5 so r = (-5)*(-5) + c = 25 + c and this is clearly insufficient
(2) r > 0 which means -5m + c > 0 which mean c > 5m and this is insuff
Combining we get
25 + c > 0 which is c > -25. And this is clearly insufficient
So IMO its E

Yup. This is a very common mistake made. I used to make this same one when i used condition 1 to evaluate condition 2 instead of evaluating it independently and ended up with different answers. careful!!

Nope.. The definition of a line is that it can extend infinitely to either ends. You are probably confusing it with the definition of a segment which has a fixed length

Good question.. IMO C and the explanation is We know that 2600 is the balance at the end of may. from (1) we know that closing balance for april < 2625. This simply implies that may was not the month of withdrawal because if it was then april's closing balance would have been 2650. So may was a mont...

Well I would assume the diameter of the base of the cyllinder to be at least the diagonal of the base of the prism sqrt(32^2 + 24^2) and then proceed from there. And then find vol of cyllinder, volume of prism which is 1.2 * base * height of the triangle of the prism * 0ne of the lengths . nNow i wi...

I went with C due to absurd reasons. First of all if this was real gmat I would have gone with A or C, maybe A more!!
But since you already marked A and then posted the question I assumed that you needed clarification on why you were wrong. But to be dead honest A and C are very close man!!
