Cylinder and prism do not go exactly

A column is formed by inserting a block of wood in a closely fitting cylindrical case, and then filling up the surrounding space with concrete. If the wood is in the shape of a right prism 2m 75cm long on a rectangular base whose sides are 32cm and 24cm find the required amount of concrete to the nearest cubic decimeter.

Well I would assume the diameter of the base of the cyllinder to be at least the diagonal of the base of the prism sqrt(32^2 + 24^2) and then proceed from there. And then find vol of cyllinder, volume of prism which is 1.2 * base * height of the triangle of the prism * 0ne of the lengths .
nNow i will try both lengths in the <one of the lengths > part and see what volumes i end up wth based on the answers and chose that one
